Spock...the Vulcan in me speaks today :)



Mr.Spock as the character was so named...half "vulcan" half "human"...one who had it in his destiny to see his mother planet Vulcan disintegrate before his eyes and to live...with his family being on Vulcan as it vanished...we as mortal humans on this grid...have it within us to at least "try" and understand all that is changing around us in nature...stuff being told to us in that silent language that she is so fond of...lessons of a lifetime that we can never relate to because we're too busy being "mankind"...!!! I'd say we have very little time left on this beautiful planet unless we change our ways...we are like the fungus on a flower that's eating the very flower that is feeding it without giving any back...!!! I'd say someday we are going to look at the earth differently...we will look at the sky...and it will have no answers for us...for we will have taken away too much...and those answers that will appear will not be smiling at us...for that will be the end of the code called mankind on this matrix called the solar system :) Its a very delicate balance...the audio we hear...the video we see...the senses that we depend upon...all a gift from that all too kind a programmer we call GOD in his grid...i'm guessing even he has a limit to his patience...anyways...warp drives or not...resonance engines or not...star-ship enterprise or not...lets hope someday we are able to break that dumbness called "being man" and accept that we will NEVER be allowed to disturb another species until we clean up our own game on this ball of "fur"...!!! :) what say you ?

A good visit to Kaziranga National Park [Rhino Land] - II

Kaziranga National Park has four gates for entry into the buffer zones...the drive lasts about two hours per gate...and if you are lucky you will get a guide (gypsy driver) who is full of knowledge and will explain all the names of the birds and animals during the drive. The East gate is a bird watchers paradise...actually all gates are equally interesting...this time of the year makes it a perfect destination to visit as the river levels are low and the animals are in their natural habitat with full abundance. The brave rangers of Kaziranga that look after the wildlife round the clock...it is sad that there are still poachers in this beautiful animal paradise...needless to say that the rangers keep them at bay. Some general wildlife pictures i tried to capture with my super old Canon EOS550D with a Tamron 18-400mm lens...i would have loved to upgrade to a Canon EOS R7 with a Canon 200-800mm lens...however that combination is a bit heavy on the hands and my fingers were literally cramp...

A good visit to Kaziranga National Park [Rhino land]

I'm NOT  a professional photographer...however during my recent  visit to Kaziranga National Park as part of my annual holiday i captured the below images. These two panoramas are typical of the landscape of Kaziranga...it is spread over 430 Sq. Km....vast expanses  of fertile land covered with silt from the river Brahmaputra...the river floods every year...all the animals are affected annually. This is a typical Bamboo built structure...in this case it is a restaurant...had some local chicken here...! A visit to the Orchid Park...a very nice collection of orchids from the entire North-East India...they have kept them alive and cultivated them through a lot of sheer effort...hats off to the local Karbi folks for thinking of such an idea and developing it. There was a traditional dance program at the arena next to the orchid park...sneaked in some photos :) These are traditional dances from Assam and North-East India...typically done during harvest time etc. The Tea Factor...

A taste of Freedom :)

  It has been ages since i took the opportunity to swing the flag around...this year just happened to be the one...many people post independence feel patriotic about this day...some feel like they can take their freedom for granted...me on the other hand...i don't really go all out in the colors of the flag...but I'm quite a bit nationalistic...quite a bit conservative...and quite a bit of a kid singing those happy songs in my mind...leading the  mind readers to their own "graves" in my own sweet way...best part is they don't even mind :) maybe they don't understand...the matrix is never meant to have all the keys to the universe in one place...they are distributed all over the place...and well hidden...some in plain sight...life has been one roller coaster ride...from those streets where they sold our lives for a dollar...to these streets where the grid is too kind and provides protection and affection...we are wary and we are aware...for it is not everyday t...
