School children 20 years on :)

This one is on me :)...25 years gone by since school...it has been a while...all success stories...lots of hardship...many taking different and varied paths in life...some working and achieving their destiny through immense tough times...most of the familiar faces during our days showed up...some from foreign shores...this was in the planning for over a year...we have always been a "strange" lot...most of the folks i could recognise by face...our in built mind based face progression software coming to the rescue in some cases though i was lost on a few names...some folks i met again straight after school...25 years changes a lot on the persons physique...I've put on weight...face might have changed a bit...most folks remember me as a thin little boy who used to be a bit studious, was weak at sports and for crying out loud never had a girlfriend or crush in school :) being poor back then has always had its limitations on time, money and trust...its been so many years but still the same rules for me :) Being a good listener, which comes naturally to some like me who has had solitude for company for a rather long time, came in handy...i spoke shortly to almost everyone who was present...didn't know they would recognise me, however, they all did when i introduced myself...it is incredible that the organisers got in touch with so many folks, almost 70 of us...i was hoping we could have teachers visiting us too...however it was deferred to another time another place...i guess we should not wait for another 25 years as the teachers may not all be around...the event went smoothly from the music, firang anchor, photo sessions, heck even a ppt slide show of the "whos who" book, birthday celebration, good food and great company...i do not socialise very much these days outside of my circle of trust but was dragged to the dance floor thrice :) I heard stories of people saying i was the US...some even said i was probably working at NASA...haha...if only i was still with the scientific community...life might have made a "thinker" out of me...all in all a good evening...patriotism, sacrifice and character...three words that made each and every one of us who we are today still stands in the school logo...after all we are the kids they made us :)
