A short vacation to Ranthambore and Bharatpur in Rajasthan...! - 8

Like i said earlier i also visited Gokul and Vrindavan...very nice places historically...i was a bit saddened to witness the chemical foam in the Yamuna however they are working on the bridge so the river is dammed up side of the town.

After returning to Bharatpur the next day started an adventure that i have never witnessed in my whole life...there were hundreds and thousands of birds in the bird sanctuary...here are some pictures of the life in the sanctuary. I am still kicking myself for not buying the planned Canon EOS R6 Mark III and Canon 200mm-800mm lens for this trip...! But one has to consider that i had not that much money to spend at the time...so beggars cant be choosers...! I would be lost on this trip except for the presence of my guide Babu Lal ji who has been helping tourists like myself understand the varied bird life in the sanctuary. At first glance one would feel that old age would have affected his eyesight...however it is sharper than mine...!!! He comes with a world of real experience being a naturalist.
