Brief history of time: my edition

 I visited Agra after 28 years...! Had not known it would be super crowded  as it was Christmas eve and most people had an official  holiday ...! I was too tempted to touch up the images with AI...! The artisans now in the 16th generation since the original Taj Mahal was built...the 17th generation however does not want to carry on the traditions...the govt has made special efforts to provide sops to this generation just so they would carry on the traditions. The government shops are well equipped to fund the artisans who still do the stone inlay work on marble. The only problem here was that i had no approval from family to purchase anything and these guys are expensive...! However to keep the guy engaged i bough some small marble god figurines. They pack the goods well...they didn't break in the aircraft luggage handling...!

 This visit to Fatehpur Sikri was memorable for the reason that even though i do not know what the moghul empire did to my country, the fact remains that these will be part of our history always. The inlay used to be gold with real emeralds and diamonds...the idiot British looted it all back in the day. They say the wishes at Chisti's Dargah always come true as long as one never divulges them...so i made three wishes one with each string and raised a chaddar at his grave...this is an expensive endeavor from my perspective but as my family said...its a once in a lifetime chance...so i did it...! Budget be damned..!
