A taste of Freedom :)

 



It has been ages since i took the opportunity to swing the flag around...this year just happened to be the one...many people post independence feel patriotic about this day...some feel like they can take their freedom for granted...me on the other hand...i don't really go all out in the colors of the flag...but I'm quite a bit nationalistic...quite a bit conservative...and quite a bit of a kid singing those happy songs in my mind...leading the  mind readers to their own "graves" in my own sweet way...best part is they don't even mind :) maybe they don't understand...the matrix is never meant to have all the keys to the universe in one place...they are distributed all over the place...and well hidden...some in plain sight...life has been one roller coaster ride...from those streets where they sold our lives for a dollar...to these streets where the grid is too kind and provides protection and affection...we are wary and we are aware...for it is not everyday that someone sends you gifts in a brown paper package that are under normal conditions meant to blow up...if you get my drift :) or even clothes to keep one warm in the cold winter on those streets :) voice management is a trick of the trade...but on these streets we can sometimes tell from the noise floor on the call who's saying what and who isn't saying what :) much more entertaining is when the idiots try mind control to try to deliver a message...i had told them fools the lab rat will get you into trouble...all those months of needless torture...so we sold a few for less than a dollar a few years later...and we watched...and waited...and she came around spinning in all her resplendent magnificence as she always does...muchos love to mother nature...and all her special ones...today we stand tall...having become survivors of that chip trade in this matrix...pieces of us lying on this ship and that...everyone forgot to read the writing on the wall...they thought its just a kid out there to tear up into pieces...forgetting that the whole wall was me :) anyways...happy independence day my friends.

  Today is a sad day...i had to put my pup to rest...it has been a solid 13 years of memories...be it having to kiss her bye every time while going to Pune...or having to follow her into the garden to "protect" the other cats loitering around...or having to put up with her middle of the night woof...or trying to teach her to fetch the ball only having to do it myself...i will always cherish the proud stubborn lively mischievous dog that she was...it is sometimes crazy that we lose the ones we care about the most...i guess...she has her peace now wherever she is headed...i wish her freedom...i wish her a beautiful next life...i wish her a better life than this one...i wish her everything she ever dreamt of in her unending dreams...i wish her life be written in a book of gold in her next life...may you fly with the angels my love...i don't really know how to end this write up...for once I'm speechless...and in tears...!

TSEC at 25! Round #2 of the quarter century celebrations :)

Its not everyday when your college group gets together after a span of 25 years to celebrate the occasion of a reunion...each one of us has travelled through time at zip speed and the past 25 have been a breeze...everyone had their own experiences to share...our guest of honor was our principal from college days Dr. Kranti Kumar or KK as we affectionately used to call him...folks travelled from all over the world ranging from Australia to the US the long way around...it was a nice time and hats off to Sheetal and Prakash to start early last year to get people on one WhatsApp group...not everybody these days has time for WhatsApp groups much less for folks who have not had time to meet up for 25 years...somewhere i guess that thread of a connect having gone through the rigors of an engineering college like TSEC led them to accept the invitation during their super cramped up India visit...folks patiently introduced themselves to KK and then it was KK's turn...dinner was served and we...
