The day I cursed the chinese over not being able to buy one of their phones in spite of it being an extreme machine...!

Went shopping the other day...was looking for a cell phone...so at Croma I checked out the I-Phone 11 (I was too poor to even ask the price of the 12) and the One Plus 8T...both excellent phones in their own right...then the salesman showed me the Mi 10T Pro...I was in love with the camera features instantly...5G etc. was present however the cam was fantastic...108MP was enough to blow me away...after listening to the guy explain the features of all the phones...I told him i was very impressed by the Mi 10T however at this point in time i would rather not but that phone...he quickly asked..."why don't you want to buy it sir...all phones have either parts built in China or the whole phone comes from there"...I looked at him and told him politely "Every soldier counts"...he went quite silent...gently nodded and walked away...coming from a military family (both grandparents served)...I know the pain of having a young lad come home wrapped in a flag (my mama was in an IAF Mig-21 crash and could not bail out)...I guess many many years of listening to logic and stories of the past I kind of developed that liking for the fauji's and their way of life...its a tough life...im pretty sure if I had to spare time for the state they would be highly disappointed...there was a time when I went to "war" with a smile on my face...was a very difficult time of my life...but the things I learnt in those few months of extreme pain would make even the best cyber-security expert see nightmares in broad daylight and ill bet even snow-den would look like a Christmas cake in todays time...there is no point in learning top rated secret stuff if all your senses are compromised...I could have been Karla (@tinker tailor soldier spy) in the Indian context over the past 20 years...someday I hope they appreciate the distance maintained.
