Wishing you a heavenly 100 year celebration Nana :)

Image
Nana (my grandfather) would have been 100 years old today...i still remember all the good times...he was as hardworking in his years, when i knew him, as ever...one with grit and determination...always pampering us grandkids no end...was a bit strict...though i usually was a very well behaved kid and never got a proper scolding from him i think its the best times that i always remember...the world has many interpretations of his life...some remember him as a strict boss...some as a good neighbor...some as a good friend...and some as a great relative...been an interesting life...mainly because i knew he always had my back...from buying me my first cricket bat to my first bicycle...my first carron board lesson...my first card trick taught...i cant count the blessings...always spending his evening with a drink of his usual whiskey and some snack to go with it...taking me along in his car for visiting far off corners of the city to inspect various industrial units and their security ...

Meeting Sanju after a couple of decades...!

Image
Breakfast at Tiffany's [Scrumptious] Been a couple of decades since we could sit together and discuss life, love and family. Sanju is one guy you can count on in difficult situations. He was part of the TSEC cricket team. Demya's idea to call up and set up breakfast.

A little 3-D Phased Array Radar to the rescue...and a short "war"...!!!

Image
Its been a while...it seems one learns nothing from their past mistakes when it comes to pretending to go to war...they lost all four wars they "fought"...the losers couldn't find their way to sunlight because they have their heads shoved up so far up their asses...meet our bhikari [beggar] neighbors...they have barely enough to feed their population for five days and probably fuel for 12 days...and the chuts want to go to war...the chuts couldn't escape being targeted after 911...they still don't know why or maybe they do now that the worlds most wanted terrorist was found there:)  Well we are more than resolute on our mission to protect our people, our land and our airspace...we don't care presently about the fact that you have a hundred or thousand terrorists in your country...even the presence of 1 is bad enough for you...you will perish the same deaths your ancestors did...and you will learn your fifth lesson here. We are mighty grateful for the S400 fr...

A good visit to Kaziranga National Park [Rhino Land] - II

Image
Kaziranga National Park has four gates for entry into the buffer zones...the drive lasts about two hours per gate...and if you are lucky you will get a guide (gypsy driver) who is full of knowledge and will explain all the names of the birds and animals during the drive. The East gate is a bird watchers paradise...actually all gates are equally interesting...this time of the year makes it a perfect destination to visit as the river levels are low and the animals are in their natural habitat with full abundance. The brave rangers of Kaziranga that look after the wildlife round the clock...it is sad that there are still poachers in this beautiful animal paradise...needless to say that the rangers keep them at bay. Some general wildlife pictures i tried to capture with my super old Canon EOS550D with a Tamron 18-400mm lens...i would have loved to upgrade to a Canon EOS R7 with a Canon 200-800mm lens...however that combination is a bit heavy on the hands and my fingers were literally cramp...
